context-engineering-intro

A project template for context engineering with Claude Code: rules in CLAUDE.md, code examples and commands that turn a feature description into a detailed brief and then into a working implementation.

Who it is for

For those coding with Claude Code who want predictable results.

How to start

  1. Clone the template: git clone https://github.com/coleam00/Context-Engineering-Intro.git.
  2. Describe the feature in INITIAL.md and put code examples in the examples/ folder.
  3. In Claude Code run /generate-prp INITIAL.md, then /execute-prp PRPs/your-feature-name.md.

Steps are taken from the README. Check the current version in the repository before running them.
