Plan mode
Also: plan mode
A mode where the agent studies the code and proposes a plan without changing files. You approve the plan before implementation starts.
Example
claude --permission-mode plan, then “what changes for Google sign-in?”, edit the plan with Ctrl+G — and only then code.
