Spec to Ship

One weekend, one brief for everyone: turn it into a spec and build an MVP from it. Judged by a jury.

No dates or prices yet — we're collecting a waitlist.

Who it's for

  • Да: Developers and PMs who want to see how fast they can ship a product with agents
  • Да: Small teams looking for a reason to build something together over a weekend
  • Да: Solo builders ready to compete with teams on the strength of a good spec

What you get

A team MVP built from the brief, scored by a jury

  • Да: An MVP built to the brief and the spec behind it
  • Да: A jury score and feedback on both the product and the spec
  • Да: A portfolio project with a clear story: brief → spec → product

How the hackathon runs

  1. Kickoff

    The brief

Every participant gets the same brief at the same moment — nobody sees it in advance.

  2. Stage 1

    Spec

Turn the brief into a spec with acceptance criteria — the FolderAI spec service is available for this.

  3. Stage 2

    Build

Build the MVP from your spec with any agents and tools. Code is written during the hackathon.

  4. Final

    Demo and jury

A short demo and a jury score against the published criteria.

Rules

  • Да: Solo or in a team; team-size limits are announced with the date
  • Да: One brief for everyone, published at kickoff
  • Да: All code is written during the hackathon; existing libraries and any AI tools are allowed
  • Да: The jury scores: fit to the brief, spec quality, whether the demo works, and how honestly the team says what isn't done
